A Relaxing Horse Riding Experience in Sydney

Escape the noise of the city and enjoy a peaceful horseback ride through the beautiful natural surroundings of our 500-acre property.

Our beginner trail rides take you through tranquil bush trails and wide open spaces, where it’s easy to forget how close you are to Sydney. Whether you’re completely new to riding or simply looking for a relaxing outdoor experience, our friendly horses and experienced guides will ensure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the ride.

This ride is conducted at a relaxed walking pace, making it perfect for first-time riders.

What to Expect

Your 60-minute trail ride includes:

🐎 A relaxed and enjoyable introduction to horse riding

No previous riding experience is required.

Ages 10+ ride independently on our trail rides. Children aged 6–9 can still participate on a staff-led horse – $150 per rider.

Trail rides are available Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Thursdays during the school holidays. Bookings are essential as places are limited.

Helmets must be worn at all times and will be provided for you. Please wear long pants and closed in shoes with a smooth sole.

The maximum rider weight is 95kg. Scales are available on arrival if required.

Experienced Trail Ride - $165

An Advanced Trail Ride for Confident Riders Comfortable in Trot and Canter

$165 per person | 1.5 hours

Set among our beautiful 500-acre horse riding property, this ride offers experienced riders the opportunity to explore bush trails and open areas on a more engaging and active trail ride. These rides are designed for riders with confident riding skills, who are comfortable maintaining balance and control while riding in trot and canter.

After a short riding assessment in our arena, you will head out on trail with one of our guides to explore bush tracks and open areas of the property. Depending on rider ability and conditions on the day, riders have opportunities to trot and canter along sections of the trail, making this ride ideal for confident riders wanting a more engaging experience.

This ride is not suitable for beginners or riders who have not previously ridden at trot and canter.

For safety reasons, if on the day our staff feel a rider is not capable of safely riding at certain paces, the guide may adjust the ride accordingly. For example, if a rider is comfortable in trot but lacks balance in canter, the guide may allow trotting only while on the trail.

No refunds will be provided if the pace of the ride is adjusted based on the guide’s safety assessment.

Minimum age: 14 years
Maximum rider weight: 90kg

Experienced trail rides run: 7:30am and 2:00pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Additional rides may be available during school holidays.

Bookings are essential. To check availability or make a booking, please contact us using the enquiry form because we carefully match riders with suitable horses, bookings are arranged personally by our team.

Important Booking Information

To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance can be paid on the day via cash or card. Please note that tap-and-go and credit card payments incur a surcharge.

Cancellations and Changes - When you book a ride, horses and staff are specifically allocated to your time slot and that space cannot be filled at short notice. For this reason we require at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking.

Cancellations made with more than 72 hours’ notice may have the deposit applied to a future booking, however a $10 administration fee will apply. Missed appointments, late cancellations (less than 72 hours’ notice), fewer riders attending than originally booked, or failure to arrive on time will require full payment.

Arrival Time - Rides depart at the scheduled time and cannot be delayed for late arrivals. It is very important that all riders arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled ride time. This allows time for helmet fitting and the mandatory safety briefing. Late arrivals who miss the safety briefing will be considered to have missed their ride, and refunds will not be provided.

To ensure safety on our rides, all riders must be able to understand basic instructions in English.

Weather Conditions - Rides generally proceed in most weather conditions. However, if weather or ground conditions make riding unsafe, we will contact you via text message on the day to arrange a reschedule. In this situation, your deposit will be issued as a voucher credit, which can be used for a future ride or given as a gift.
